Hello,

after I don’t know which manipulation, it has become impossible for me to add words to the dictionary. When I looked in the options, I saw that the dictionary path had been changed and I can’t find it. I have Microsoft Office 2010.

Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 8.0

Actually, I bought Antidote, a very useful dictionary that I wanted to install on Word but I couldn't manage to do it, and it was at that moment that I tried to modify the path, but I shouldn't have because I can't find the one you gave me.
    I'm in trouble. :'(

    Hello,

I didn’t quite understand your question: the dictionary path could not be changed by itself...
By default, the personal dictionaries are located here:
    C:\Users\<your username="">\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\UProof

If you don’t see them, search for the DIC extension, and place them here.

You can also create another dictionary, with the New button.

Have you searched your PC to find the DIC files? When you’ve found them, from Word’s Dictionaries options, click the Browse button, and go to where you found the files. m@rina -- “On the office forum, people ask questions about office software…” “Oh really???”

Hello, Stella, on your screenshot you can clearly see the personal dictionary: it’s CUSTOM.DIC. And it’s stored in a folder where it has nothing to do, C:\Program Files...... the path indicated in the "path" line. Follow this path and fetch that CUSTOM.DIC to move it precisely to the location that M@rina pointed out above, here: C:\Users\your username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\UProof Argitxu
