Hello,
Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 8.0
apparently my IP address is blocked (or blacklisted if you prefer) on Meetic (for a ridiculous reason), how can I re-register because if I do it works but after 2 minutes I'm expelled.
how could I fix this?
thank you in advance
best regards

and how do I use a proxy? (sorry, I don't know anything!)
thank you

Wait for your IP to change (you probably have a dynamic IP) or use a proxy.

So I just have to restart my modem and they won't be able to block me anymore, according to you?

It depends on the company that provides your internet. With Bell here in Canada, we can change our IP by restarting our modem for a maximum of 8 times a month.

A dynamic IP is an IP that usually changes at the end of the month or week, or simply by restarting the main internet modem.
A proxy is a remote computer that will redirect the web page you want to view with their IP to your computer.
