Hello, I can't adjust the clock on my computer. Let me explain, when I check the time, my PC displays:
Tuesday, January 1, 2008.
But this date is incorrect and I can't set the clock. When I select:
"Set date and time"
The following error message appears:
Unable to continue

I am the administrator. What should I do? Can you please help me? This is blocking my access to certain pages and programs like the Facebook page or the MSN program.

Good evening
You may be an administrator, but you have to right-click on the command and select 'Run as administrator'. We agree that it's stupid, but that's how it is with Vista and Seven..
Now, if your time is consistently reset to a default date like that, it's likely that the CMOS battery on your motherboard is dead.
You just need to replace it; if I remember correctly, it's a flat battery about 2cm in diameter, type CR2032 (to be verified), costing around €5 at any computer or photo shop. It's very visible on your motherboard. Be careful to check how to take it out without forcing anything.
See you

Good evening,
change the time and date in the BIOS, and if it happens again, replace the motherboard battery.
