"Remove cartridge and check it"

Hello,

On HP PSC 2175 printer, I have the message "remove cartridge and check it" and the message persists even with new cartridges. Thank you for your advice.

Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 8.0

    After changing the black cartridge on an HP 2210, a message appeared: remove the cartridge and replace it.
    I put the old black cartridge back in, and still the same message.
    In reality, it was the color cartridge that I never use that had dried out. I cleaned it with alcohol and put it back in. EVERYTHING WORKS...!
