Hello,
Yesterday I dropped my phone (Samsung B3410) down the stairs and now, when I turn it on, a part of the top -touchscreen- remains white... But at the same time, when I touch the white area to select something, it works perfectly even though it doesn't display! I tried removing the SIM card and taking out the battery while it was on as my friends advised me, but nothing changes, it's still the same... Should I change the screen (knowing that it's still under warranty) or is there a way for the screen to return to normal?

Hello, I'm not an expert, but in any case, it happened to a friend of mine on his Galaxy S2. I think it's the screen crystals that are dead, so the only solution is to change the screen. It worked for my friend.
There you go. -
Enjoy the warranty then and go get yourself a brand new screen for free!!! ;) This isn't the kind of problem that can be repaired, it's hardware, so it's certainly a hardware component that has been affected!! Unless you're an electronics expert in phone repairs!!

Yeah, so we might as well take it to the store right now without delay!! I advise against throwing it down the stairs hoping it will get fixed; that kind of thing only exists in fairy tales!!
Moreover, given its condition, it would be absurd to damage it further!! -
Thank you for your responses =) From what you say, I feel like there aren't many solutions... Even though it bothers me, I will have to go change it >_<

Hello,
you can always try to make him fall down the stairs again, but I'm not sure it'll fix him
for the warranty, you can always give it a shot, you’d have a better chance rather than making him fall again
but I doubt they would agree to repair it for free since I’m not sure falls are covered under the warranty.
