Send email to mobile phone

Hello, I just read a lot of things in the FAQs and various FORUMS, but I didn't find anything and especially didn't understand what I should do concretely. I would like to send an email (from a computer) to a mobile phone. Can someone clearly explain to me how to proceed? I am a beginner and not very skilled with these things. currently, most phones have internet access (3G)

so it's enough to configure your phone to sync with a webmail

but then if you want to say send an email from a PC so that the phone receives it as if it were an SMS, then I don't think that's possible
