Hello,

I am completely lost, I would like to know how much RAM this MSI 7301 motherboard tattooed Packard Bell can support at maximum :s. Currently, I have 2 GB in DDR2 PC2 4200 533MHz and I would like to upgrade to 4 GB. On several forums, I read 4 GB max and others 3 GB max. I can't find the motherboard manual. So, how much RAM can this motherboard support... 3 or 4 GB?

Thanks for your answers and if someone manages to find the manual for the motherboard, I'll buy them a sandwich :D

Thanks in advance

Configuration: Windows 7 / Opera 9.80

Thank you but it's an MSI 7301 and there's no way to find it on the MSI website

Download Everest Ultimate Edition once, tell me, and I will tell you where to place the name.

Thank you, but I solved the issue; it is limited to a maximum of 3 GB. I tested with 2 bars of 2 GB, and it detects 3 in the BIOS... Even with Windows 7 64-bit. So here it is; however, I can add 1 GB, but I had put 800 MHz with my 533 MHz, so 3 GB in total that works since it is detected in the BIOS. But it is impossible to launch Windows 7, BSOD during loading. Where could this come from?
