Hello,

I have a big problem: I assembled my PC, apparently without errors. My configuration is:

motherboard: Asus sabertooth x58
graphics card: gtx 560
intel core i7 950
memory: corsair vengeance 2x4gb

the PC doesn't start, when the power supply is on, the big green LED on the motherboard stays on and when I try to start the PC, the red LEDs (cpu led and vga led) light up for a quarter of a second and then it turns off immediately, without beeps or the fans starting.

I absolutely need your help, if you need more details, feel free to ask.

thank you very much in advance.

Configuration: Windows Vista / Safari 535.1

    Hello,
it is very difficult to be sure from a distance, but based on what you describe, it seems that a cable might be improperly connected or that a component is faulty.
My troubleshooting guide indicates for a PC that turns on for less than a second: "dead power supply or dead motherboard".
We don't know your power supply: brand and model please.
I advise you to completely disassemble everything and reassemble the PC, paying close attention at every step.
In particular, check the correct installation of the CPU in its socket, and the wiring of the front panel connectors to the motherboard.
    Good luck ;)

    Hello,
my power supply is an OCZ 600W. I would like to know if the fact that the CPU and graphics card LEDs light up is due to a problem with these components or a defective motherboard or power supply?
Thanks in advance and sorry for the delay in my response but I have been very busy :)
