I'm having trouble making braces with my keyboard. Could you please help me?

Thank you in advance!

What is the language of your keyboard? By default, on an AZERTY keyboard, you need to press AltGr + 4

If that doesn't work:
  • Control Panel / Region and Language / Keyboard and Language tab
  • Press change keyboard

Otherwise, for me it's ctrl + alt + the two keys after ":" (I'm on QWERTY). Normally, the curly braces are found on a key that has multiple characters
  • at the bottom right you just press it like ","
  • at the bottom left you press ctrl+alt+the "¯" key
  • at the top right you press shift+the "'" key

the characters are normally printed on the key ;)

Thank you for your help Drifty123. I'm not always zen... (-; but I eventually found it. I'm mastering all kinds of concepts at once. My keyboard is in French (Canada) and the braces aren’t where they are drawn on the keyboard even when I press ALT, SHIFT, CTRL, or spin around twice and do a somersault...!

Anyway, on my keyboard I do:
{ : "ALT" on the right and " " " on the right as well
} : "ALT" on the right and "|" on the right

And there you go!

Have a great end of the day,
