[live box] phone not working

I have exactly the same problems, but since I kept the subscription for my landline
I end up paying 32.89 per month + every 2 months for my phone subscription and calls
since I have never been able to get unlimited calls, but I have been paying for everything for 3 years....

When I call someone I sometimes have the dial tone, and as soon as they pick up on the other end, it starts ringing busy. exhausted, I removed everything from Wanadoo and did a complete reinstall
now I was able to get my telephone signal back

(never unplug a Livebox) because while it's easy to retrieve the internet connection settings, it's less easy to get the telephone service back.
after 43 various connections and several reinstallations, nothing worked.....

my solution:

wipe everything and reinstall from scratch.

moreover, initially, the XP Home Service Pack 2 system does not configure the Wi-Fi key

what’s strange is that it’s present on SP1 and SP4

but not SP2 (issue)

upon resuming after standby, the system picks up the Wi-Fi connection but not in startup mode.

I did try to download the drivers and open them after unpacking but no luck, the other one doesn’t want to launch it (I suppose there are default programs that prevent the operation).

6 disconnections in 10 minutes

since my telephone service was stable on the router, I restored the old Wi-Fi configuration

Follow: Start, program selection, livebox selection, then configuration, arrive on the site, log in to the site httpconfiguarationlivebox and in the configuration tab you will find the update.
That's it for the rest, before doing this check the connections.

Now, I'm not looking for a solution anymore, I'm tired of being taken for a ride; I'm switching operators. And if it doesn't work out, we'll switch again. The advantage is that to win back customers, they all offer super interesting deals at the beginning, so even if it’s a hassle to cancel a contract and start a new one, too bad, they have just as much paperwork as we do.

Hello, I had the same problem; it came from my phone socket. I had a spare one with a filter, and everything went back to normal. Now I have plugged my second phone into my filtered socket, and I have both services: Orange and France Télécom (as the Livebox does not accept 08 numbers, I had to connect the second handset).

To my knowledge, with the Livebox, you have to keep your France Télécom subscription, but it seems that next year we will be able to unsubscribe (to be verified).

You can also try unplugging everything, including your phone socket and your Livebox.
It works sometimes.

But first, check if your socket is equipped with a filter because with a standard socket, it definitely won't work.

I went to the customer service of France Télécom in my area and they reset it from their end. Two hours later, it worked again.
