Livebox Internet light flashing Solved

Question

Hello,

So here it is, I was on the internet, and my Livebox suddenly disconnected. Since then, the internet light has been blinking (quite slowly). Everything is operational, I can connect, etc., but nothing shows up when I open any web page. Everything seems normal except for the light and the result of the web pages.

Hello, I have the same issue, instant disconnection after several years of perfect functioning, no internet although the PC can communicate with the livebox. The problem seems to be a synchronization issue...? The @ diode is flashing constantly.

After calling Orange and then changing the livebox, nothing improves even after changing the cables and filters. A second call to Orange and several tests later, we are left with no choice but to call in a technician.... Appointment scheduled within a few days but if anyone has a solution, I'm all ears.

Hi, I set fire to Orange, nothing has been working for 3 days, the lights are all flashing, I've had 650 disconnections.

I'm having the same problem as you all. For the past few days, the @ light on the box has been flashing red permanently, and it's impossible to connect or only connect to the local network.

After various manipulations with customer service, I scheduled an appointment with a technician for yesterday at 4 PM, but by 5:30 PM no one had shown up. I called customer service again, and they told me to wait until 6 PM. By 6:30 PM, still no technician, so I called them again and this time I spoke to a representative who explained that the technician doesn't work in the apartment, but directly on the server...? That the problem would be resolved by the end of the evening.

This morning, of course, nothing has changed.... I'm waiting until noon to call them back, but I'm starting to lose my patience...!

How did this situation get resolved for you? Did you get a new box, did a technician come to your place or fix it remotely...?

Erf, in my case the problem doesn't come from the filters, but thanks for the reply!

I finally managed to reach them by phone. Having recently changed my address, it seems that my line was still not activated after a month... Yet, I had received the confirmation emails and texts and had been able to connect without any issues for several days...

Anyway, the problem should be resolved within the next 72 hours according to customer service.

I have the same problem, no internet for 2 and a half weeks.
4 calls, I went to Orange 3 times.
I'm told the line is good, internet activated. After several calls, they sent a technician. He told me the second Livebox they exchanged for me doesn’t work. So, I went back to Orange.
Customer service connected it, but the Livebox works fine; the technician must not have known anything. So I'm still at the same point.
This morning, I'm going to call 3900 again. It's really starting to annoy me.

Change operator, I'm fed up with Orange, they really take us for fools. I had the same thing, and when I called them to change operators, the agent said to me "And what reason do you wish to leave Orange?" What a joke, huh. Good luck.

After 3 weeks without internet, I have found a connection, 2 technicians showed up (they weren't drunk, unlike the first ones lol)
I called customer service, I got a €120 discount, which means 3 months free.
Otherwise, I would have switched to another provider. My termination letter was already ready.

As for me, I have an example of dysfunction with a friend. She has a Sagem Livebox. You know, that kind of object that looks like a book and falls apart at the slightest puff of wind...! Anyway, this box (which is wisely placed on the ground) disconnects regularly, so no phone, no TV, and of course, no internet either. We unplug, we plug back in, we reset, but nothing works.

So, we head to the Orange store with the Livebox under our arm, and after 2 hours of waiting, the technician checks, reconfigures, and then tells us that the Livebox is working... Indeed, it works for a few days, a few weeks, then... Here we go again, no connection. We've gone through this circus 6 times.

Since the Livebox is not deemed defective, of course, Orange refuses to replace it. But according to what I'm reading on this forum (victims of Orange), I don’t know if changing the box would make much difference.

I think we should launch a massive petition at the national level; a big buzz to denounce Orange.

You’re complaining that in 2009 it was absurd not to have Internet in the evening, so imagine in 2015...
More seriously:
I’m with Orange and from 11 PM to 6 AM, it’s impossible to have Internet without the red light flashing. I’ve tried turning the livebox off and on again, but after 5 minutes it disconnects again. The funniest thing is that I’m in the middle of the countryside and there are no streetlights in the whole neighborhood... Anyone to shed some light on my situation?
