Out-of-Range Frequency Issue!

Hello,

This morning, I wanted to change the resolution (just in the control panel) and a black screen appeared with a blue frame explaining that the frequencies were out of range.

Since then, I have the same problem every time I restart my PC. I have been to many forums where I saw numerous similar issues but I still haven't succeeded.
I started safe mode, disabled and uninstalled the graphics driver (which allows the PC to function) but when I reinstall the driver, I have the same problem.
I checked the cable and tried changing the resolution to no avail.

Additionally, on Windows 7 I don't see how to change the frequencies. In the control panel, I don't have the option to do so.

Thank you for helping me if you see how to do it.

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 3.6.16

    Thank you for everything, a restore would have been enough. I hadn't thought of that!
