Remove an unnecessary phone connection

Hello,

Before switching to ADSL with Orange, I had a supplementary line installed by France Télécom, so I could have a phone upstairs.
However, I no longer use this line, and the cable fixed to the wall with staples is bothering me because I need to redo my living room.
Could someone kindly tell me if I can cut it without any issues?
A competent opinion would reassure me, as this morning, I wanted to remove the wall bell that is no longer of any use, and I had to rush to reinstall everything!!!!

Thank you in advance for a response, and have a great end of summer, everyone.

Configuration: Windows Vista / Internet Explorer 9.0

YOU REMOVE your FT cable, it's none of their business, it's not their problem, for them it's from your connection box to the outside of your house, you can put the sockets and cables that you want.
