Solved

Hello,

In OpenOffice Calc, I can't find how to hide/delete horizontal and vertical lines (actually, I created a calculation table and I would like to make the surrounding cells white)

Thanks in advance

Configuration: Mac OS X / Safari 534.30

Hello,
Open the Tools tab and then click on Options.
Scroll down to the "Open Office org Calc" section and click on Display
In the right section, uncheck the "grid lines" box and click OK

See you later

Good evening,

thank you for your quick response

I do have the Tools tab, but there is no Options (there is only the auto-correction option)...

The problem is that my version of the software is from 2011, and what you're telling me and what I see on Google is about the previous versions... so I'm a bit lost.

Good evening,

We are indeed talking about OpenOffice Calc and not Microsoft Excel.
On version 3.3.0 the procedure is the same. Is there a newer version available?

It's good, it worked!!
Actually, I had to go to "Preferences"

Thank you very much and have a good evening

Hello,

Then use the help of OpenOffice
In the Index tab, type "Grid" in the search box and then select "Show Gridlines." The answer will appear in the right area.
Note that the grid is never printed.
As for me, I have version 3.0.1
Be careful, there are now two versions of OpenOffice: the other one is now called LibreOffice, I believe, and is in the non-commercial circuit.
See you later
