Hello,
One of my teachers returned a draft report to me, striking out inappropriate expressions or terms. In this document, it turns out that pressing the delete key actually bars the word, rather than deleting it. After correcting these terms, how do I actually remove the struck-through text?
Thank you for your help

Hi,
Your document is in collaborative mode: changes are not applied directly but saved in a sort of history.
To return to normal mode or apply the changes: Edit/Tracks menu. -

The word is crossed out like a strikethrough text... but that's not the function. When I try to delete text, whether by pressing delete or backspace, the text doesn't disappear but becomes crossed out. I selected the text and copied it into a new document... and the crossed-out/deleted words disappeared! It must be a formatting option that I don't know about... but I'm interested!
Thanks anyway for the reply.
