What graphics card is equivalent to PlayStation 3?

Hello,

I want to compare the graphical capabilities between the PlayStation 3 console and graphics cards; which graphics card is equivalent to the PS3.

And sorry if this comparison offends the most sensitive minds, the "purists" as they like to call themselves. Yes, yes...my question is poorly phrased...how foolish of me...

    PERSONAL OPINION:

    - None... The graphics card of the PS3 is not equivalent to any PC graphics card; they are not the same at all... Sure, it's a chip made by NVidia, but specifically for the Playstation 3. The cards for PCs do not have the same architecture, the same manufacturing process, or the same software.

    That's why there are so many graphics cards available for PCs...

    A PS3 is limited in terms of performance (yes, to prevent the infamous YLOD, but that still happens, and also to avoid slowdowns during long gaming sessions).

    It is more powerful than some PCs, but many PCs can surpass it...

    A gaming PC from 2006 doesn't beat it, for example... but a PC with a 2500K and a GTX 560 or 570... the PS3 can hang :)

    But I repeat that a console is limited, that the graphic settings of the games are not pushed and optimized for the console (whatever the console)

    I’m not saying otherwise, it’s definitely a console (I’m also more focused on PS3, but whatever, we don’t care ^^)

    But a PC is definitely better for some games (FPS, dumb example)
