Hello,
I would like to know which graphics card I could install with this configuration.
Here is my config:
Intel Pentium 3.0 GHz
An Asus P8B75-M LX PLUS motherboard
480 W power supply
A 500 GB HDD
Thank you in advance for your response.

Good evening, nobody does it, but screen resolution is also an important element to specify as it greatly affects 3D performance. You can make do with a GTX750Ti if you're playing at 480 or 720p. For 1080p, a GTX950 is more suitable. But don't expect miracles from this rather low-end PC. 480 is a cursed number with power supplies. Generally, it's about models at €20 of poor quality that are better suited for a landfill.

Hello

Excuse me but: "if you play in 480 or 720p" <= who these days plays in 640x480 or 1280x720?? At least 1280x720 I can understand, but no current game runs in 640x480 ^^

I know, it's a detail ;-)

P.s: I emphasize and support your remark about the power supply, 480W feels like an Advance/Heden piece of junk that explodes and burns out the hardware when asked for 300W!

There are still 1440 x 900 screens available in the market for under €90. And as with everything that's cheap, they sell well...
I myself still have a 720p screen. While waiting for it to die so I can choose something better, it has the advantage of not putting a strain on the graphics card. I play at high settings in GTA 5 with a GTX560Ti because of this. But my next one will be more like one of those I recommended in the previous discussion we both participated in.
I find that low-cost screens with small resolution have the advantage of being suitable for those who can't afford a mid-range PC. It's less pretty, but it can run everything at a lower cost.

A budget Full HD monitor in 21.5"/22" costs €100... Don't come and tell me that's expensive.

Well, if you look at customer reviews of 720p screens in stores, there are still many. For someone who can't afford to spend more than €500 on their gaming setup (there are plenty of them on CCM), opting for this type of screen allows them to run more titles at the expense of display quality. It's a choice that can be justified. To display titles in 1080p, it requires having a mid-range graphics card at all times. Students who are broke would probably prefer to refrain.

Hello pierreeloy

P8B75-M LX PLUS, LGA1155 socket, but in Micro ATX
https://www.asus.com/fr/Motherboards/P8B75M_LX_PLUS/

What case do you have???

Intel Pentium 3.0 GHz = it's the G860 dual core
it's a GTX 750

with LGA1155 motherboards, you should avoid GTX series 9xx
otherwise you have to flash the BIOS
anyway, the GTX 950 is much more powerful, it's almost equivalent to a GTX 760
and it's not guaranteed that it will fit in your case

480-watt power supply, it must be an Advance

What games are you planning to play???

and you don't have an HDMI output to connect to an LCD TV

See you
