Salut, I'm with Free using the Freebox wifi. I want to connect my Xbox 360 to the wifi, but the Xbox cannot see the Freebox.

Salut, alors pour la Xbox 360, tu vas sur le site de Free et tu choisis la configuration du mode Wi-Fi. Là où il y a la marque (Protection), tu cliques sur : (WEP) parce qu'en mode WPA, c'est un réseau sécurisé que beaucoup de clés USB ne voient pas, ou alors la Xbox 360.

Before you can crack your WEP key in 5 minutes as you say, there's some work to be done because for now only somewhat experienced hackers can do it, and it also assumes that the person cracking your WEP key has to be using both Linux and Windows at the same time! And another little tip, never leave the access passwords for your modem or router as the default ones like "admin" for both the username and password!   And one last point, cracking a WEP key requires that the hacker be within 100 meters of your place!   As for the Xbox360, it's better to connect it directly via Ethernet (Category 5 RJ45), even if it means switching back and forth between the PC and the Xbox; it only takes two minutes while waiting for Free to send you their new HD Freebox! There you go.

Have you tried with a network cable? I found one that wasn't too expensive on http://www.jeux-video-occasion.com/ but the site is under maintenance. It will reopen in early August. I think it will work over the network.

Salut à tous, je vous déconseille Free, trop de bugs. Je vous conseille Neuf Box avec le nouveau modem avec le Wi-Fi intégré. Il suffit de rentrer le code Wi-Fi qui est en dessous du modem.
