Hello,
I bought a home theater system, but the subwoofer is too weak for the bass, so I intend to buy a more powerful car subwoofer. However, I don't have the equipment to make the enclosure. Can I connect it to the amplifier without the enclosure? And will the quality be too poor? The subwoofer is a JVC CS-G1200, 1200w. Thanks in advance.
Configuration: Windows 7 / Safari 534.30

well yeah, it will be crap
the sub is made for the bass but it needs to resonate
but it might be your home cinema amp
that's not powerful enough
I don't think a 1200w sub will perform well
if your amp is just 100w
anyway, a subwoofer then
not very complicated 6 pieces of wood some nails -
Thank you Thank you, well since I have some DIY to do this weekend, a bit of handiwork won't hurt lol, ;)

Fortunately, you talked me out of making that purchase; actually, the sub crashes with the MP3s from the USB stick, it might be a Dolby Digital issue...
But with the original CDs, it's almost perfect:
Thank you
