JVC KD-R401 car radio questions Solved

Question

Hello,

I did indeed buy a JVC KD-R401 car stereo from an acquaintance for quite cheap.
I tried to adjust the bass and treble...
I found a few things to adjust the sound, but it seems to me that you can't set the bass separately or the treble either; even on older models, you can do that.
So I'm wondering, and I'm asking you at the same time.
Tell me I'm wrong; otherwise, I will be really disappointed, as not being able to adjust the bass or treble seems unbelievable.

I confirm, your link to adjust settings yourself is very interesting. Apparently, you need to go to user in EQ. It's very well explained in the manual. I will try it on my JVC and I will post.

I have a JVC KD-G632 and the bass, mid, and treble settings are done through a menu, where you can access all the main settings.

It's okay for the treble, bass, and middle settings. Press and hold the menu, turn until you find EQ, press, then turn until you find USER. Keep holding the volume button and there you'll find everything you need.
