Device driver error Solved

Question

Hello,
From time to time, my PC reboots and then appears under Win, WINDOWS needs to recover from a serious error. I send the error report to Microsoft and through Internet Explorer, I am informed that this is caused by an unknown device driver, without further details.
I have updated most of my drivers, which according to the hardware properties are functioning correctly, SO WHAT TO DO.

Hi,
you can take a look in "start - control panel - administrative tools - event viewer", the goal is to determine what is causing your computer to crash. The viewer should display the application at fault.
If you don't find any information, try to figure out when your computer crashes to narrow down the search.

right-click on My Computer then Properties
there you go to the Advanced tab and click on Settings in the Startup and Recovery section (that's the last one)
in the new window uncheck the box "Automatically restart"
this means that the next time it happens...your PC will not restart, you will find yourself in front of a blue page with a whole text...
you need to take note very precisely of the line of type 0X00000000 (0X000000, 0X00000, 0X00000, 0X0000) except that you will have something other than zeros. Eventually, you will have a file name in question, note that too.
after that you can turn off your PC with the button on your tower and restart it (you can then check the "Automatically restart" box again if you want)
and you note here, on the forum, the error that is described...

1) Have you used Memtest to test your RAM? If not, then do it.
2) Have you checked in the Device Manager if there were any problems? A yellow question mark means there is something wrong!
3) Is your PC fully updated (Windows XP SP2 and all critical updates...)

Given the message you posted above... I would lean towards a graphics card issue. What graphics card do you have?

As for my graphics card, it is an NVIDIA GFORCE 6600 256 Mb.
