Hello, I’d like to know how to connect my (ordinary computer speakers), to my audio interface (Line 6 UX1).
I’ve plugged the POD via USB to my PC, set the POD UX1 as the default device, connected the stereo jack of my speakers (via a 3.5 mm to 6.3 mm jack adapter) to the POD UX1’s “Input Stereo” input.
The problem is that I hear nothing, no sound comes out, despite varying levels on the overall volume indicator.
Awaiting a response, thank you.

Hello
is it that you have read your instruction manual? if you plug into Input, it’s normal that you hear nothing, INPUT is an input, whereas sound comes from the outputs... :-)
now, the outputs (OUT) are mono (x2), so you’ll need a special cable, which will be rather hard to find:
a stereo mini-jack (3.5 female) to two mono 6.35 male jacks.
if you have the possibility to solder, it’s better to buy the connectors and assemble it yourself.
one more slight issue is the size of the shielded wire (2 shielded wires inside a mini-jack shell, that may be difficult...). rather take a wire not too thick (still shielded).
if you don’t use the headphone output, connect your speakers to it, it’s simpler. -
