It's getting worse and worse with these Yahoo and now Gmail ads.
I would like to know how to remove the ad in Yahoo Messenger (the latest version compatible with WLM) that is located below the contact list?
Can someone help me? Thank you.

Hi Béa,
Are you talking about the advertising emails you receive or the ads displayed on the Yahoo mail site?
If it's advertising emails, that's called spam, so in that case, you should try to configure Yahoo's spam filter to reduce them :)
If you're talking about ads on Yahoo's web pages, the most effective way is to use Mozilla Firefox and add the Adblock extension.
For more explanation, you can go here for example: http://arnaud.lecler.free.fr/tuto_antipub/
++ good luck and let me know if I answered your question :)

Hello again
Indeed, these are ads on the Yahoo page
I checked your link, but is it possible to have Mozilla without removing Internet Explorer?
Talk to you later, Béa

Yes, absolutely, that’s not a problem at all. Moreover, Internet Explorer cannot be uninstalled.
I highly recommend using only Firefox except in cases where it doesn’t work (I only know of the Windows Update site in that case).
This way, you will avoid most spywares and you will see that in practice, Firefox is much more convenient to use than IE.
