How to remove ads Solved/Closed

Hello, I have a little problem with ads on the Internet. How can I remove these ads? Please respond!!

The Google bar does block some pop-ups (ads), but it also attracts others, so in the end, you end up with more ads ^^ the best thing to do is go to Tools/Internet Options/"tab" Privacy/Settings/... and change the "Filter Level" to High.. that's the best, and thanks to that, I no longer have any ^^

Hi,
You can use Mozilla Firebird instead of Internet Explorer or Netscape. Mozilla Firebird has a pop-up killer that prevents all those unwanted page openings.

I've never used Firebird, but if it only targets popups as Kalamit says, we only partially solve the ad problem... What’s the deal?

Hi, I've been using the Google bar for a long time and I can assure you it works very well...  Sorry but the Google toolbar blocks 1 pop-up out of 50  Try to check if it's properly configured...     There is no end; there is no beginning There is only the infinite passion of life

Hi everyone, I also have a problem with these ads that pop up on their own and it's driving me crazy, and I don't know how to get rid of them.
I have Spybot and Avast, but that's all, and I've tried adjusting the settings in Internet options to the highest level, but it doesn't work.

In Internet Explorer, click on the Tools button, then on Pop-up Blocker.
Perform one of the following actions:
To disable the pop-up blocker, click on Disable Pop-up Blocker.
To enable the pop-up blocker, click on Enable Pop-up Blocker

copy into your address bar C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
the folder opens, select hosts
right-click on it, open with, and choose Notepad from the programs
copy the following lines at the end

127.0.0.1 rad.msn.com
127.0.0.1 rad.live.com
save and close
then disconnect from MSN and reconnect
there you go

for MSN and Windows Hotmail

Or Google Chrome and AdBlock for Google Chrome

Right-click on the ad image you want to make disappear and click on "block image with AdBlock".
