Hello,
I use VLC - 8.04 or 8.02 - and I watch TV on my iMac.
Problem: I can't save the network stream (in VLC), the "m3u" list.
Can anyone tell me how I should proceed?

Good evening.
As soon as I click on the playback of the list, a window appears.
Unable to open ''http://mafreebox.freebox.fr/freebox tv//playliste.m3u.
And main: no suitable access module for ''http://mafreebox.freebox.fr/freebox tv/playliste.m3u.
What can I do? How can I resolve the problem?

Thank you for the advice that I applied correctly.
After leaving the app, I checked if the box was still filled, and it was.
I went into the controller and noticed that the list is present - without the dropdown menu arrow - and when I click on the list, it appears:
--access_mms: error: HTTP/1.0 404 File not found
main: no suitable access module for `http://mafreebox.freebox.fr/freeboxtv/playlist.m3u'--
The list remains inactive!!!
What do you think?

Re-Hello,
I updated my VLC Software which was at 0.8 and everything is working perfectly. Thank you.

No need to record anything. Go to the "Media" tab, then "Service Discovery," and there you will find several lists of streams including "Freebox TV Channels."
Enjoy!

As soon as I slide the m3u playlist into "network stream" in VLC preferences, it works and I can choose a channel and watch TV on my Mac.
But when I quit VLC and reopen it some time later, the list has disappeared. It doesn’t remain saved in the preferences.
That's the problem I'm trying to solve.
Thank you in advance.

Hello,
I have a small problem, here it is:
the TV works well except that after a minute it freezes the image and I have to click again on the chosen channel... after two minutes it's really annoying, what should I do?
I'm on Mac OS X Leopard (I'm switching to Snow Leopard on Monday)

Noticing that the recommended procedure didn't seem to be working and wanting to be sure, I rebooted my freebox and ... it works! Thanks again for your help
see you later

Hmm, entering a discussion from... 2006. You could start a new topic :-)
If you're on Mac OS X, in the application, menu VLC > Preferences....
If you're not on Mac OS X, you have posted in the wrong forum (but "those who do nothing, never make mistakes")
Best regards.
