Hello,
This morning my PC didn't want to start working.
ASUS P5P 800S startup screen
Press del to run setup (non-functional)
I checked the connections of the cards etc.. the power supply and its fan, the processor fan.
Changed the battery. Restarted. DDR detection screen, keyboard, mouse, hard drive, USB ports all OK.
Message CMOS SETTINGS WRONG
PRESS F1 TO RUN SETUP
PRESS F2 TO LOAD DEFAULT VALUES AND CONTINUE
F1 or F2 keys not working.
DO YOU HAVE A SOLUTION
Thank you for your response.

You just need to go into the BIOS and reset the date, time, and year, then press F10. It works for me.

This only allows access to the OS since you are just forcing the settings.
But the remaining problem is that the settings will reset again.
Often, the problem comes from the batteries (if the card is a certain age), or even from a manufacturing defect (if the card is new) or a temporary bug (resetting the BIOS in this case). -
