Hello,
when I click on a file to send it to... the "send to" box is empty, for example to send the file to the desktop or to the pictures folder. How can I fill in the "send to" box...?
Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 8.0

Hello,
assuming that Windows is installed on C:, you need to find the path:
C:\Documents and Settings\"your account"\Send to
Go to this folder and add the shortcuts you want.

Hello
Here is what I found here: http://forum.telecharger.01net.com/forum/high-tech/LOGICIELS/Bureautique/envoyer-bureau-absent-sujet_192760_1.htm
If you have lost some of these commands, here’s how to recover them:
1* Open the SendTo folder. (You will find this folder in C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\SendTo
2* In the Tools/Folder Options menu..., under the View tab, make sure that the option Hide extensions for known file types is unchecked.
3* Create the shortcut as follows:
o Right-click in an empty space in the folder window
o Choose New/Text Document
o Rename the text document (right-click on the icon, Rename):
+ Desktop(shortcut).DeskLink to get Desktop (Create a shortcut)
+ Compressed Folder.ZFSendToTarget to get Compressed Folder
+ My documents.MyDocs to get My documents
+ Recipient.MAPIMail to get Recipient
o Press Enter or click outside the new name field to apply it (remove the '.txt' extension if it gets added automatically)
You can place these shortcuts wherever you like. For example, a MapiMAIL shortcut in your "Links" folder, in the Favorites of Internet Explorer, will allow you to quickly send a file: you just have to drag it onto the envelope that will now appear in the links bar of Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer (View - Toolbars - Links)
