How long of a video can you store on a 1GB card?

For my future digital memory card camcorder, I would like to know if I buy a 1GB memory card, how long of video I could record? Knowing that it has a 5-megapixel sensor.

It's way too vague,
1GB depending on the format, container, codec... we can record from 5 to 5000 minutes!
Check with the manufacturer.

I bought a digital camcorder Apteik, but I can't record for more than 2 minutes. As soon as I start filming, it tells me that the memory is full after about 1 minute and 40 seconds. Could someone please tell me which memory card has more capacity for recording? I need approximately 3 hours of video recording.
