How to open a .msa?

I received an .msa file from a friend and I can't open it.
Could you tell me which software is needed to read it?

      I'm not used to these forums...
      and I haven't found my answer on how to open a .msa

    uh I’m not supposed to speak French or what?? ;-)

    Earlier I gave you a link telling with what the .msa files should be opened, as a reminder:

    Thus an .msa file is an archive file associated with magic shadow (This compressor allows you to put an entire floppy disk into an archive) however I did find definitions concerning magic shadow but no software.. This thing doesn't seem clear to me... so I would advise you to abandon opening your dubious file..

    mouarff I found it... I turned to Linux and free software and I finally found:

    http://www.kyz.uklinux.net/xad.php#MSA

    What year is your file from ?? because apparently it was used a lot on the Atari !! though we have long since moved past that..

    Anyway, problem solved !!!!!!!!
