How to connect headphones to PS3!

Question

Hello,
Today I received my Siberia v2 headset (http://www.rueducommerce.fr/...) which is supposedly compatible with the PS3!
I plug the two jack cables into the sound card provided, I connect the sound card via USB to the PS3, then I go to audio device settings and I can hear myself clearly, but when I go into a game or another application, I only hear the microphone and not the game sound?! If someone could explain how to get game sound and microphone sound at the same time, that would be really nice!
PS: The headset works perfectly on my PC!

Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 3.6.13

You need to go to the control panel, then sound and peripherals, and there you click on audio and you plug in your headphones, okay?

If I set output: my headset and input: my headset, I press ok, I go into a game and nothing happens! Yet in the Black Ops options, I did set the headset properly...

Apparently, if I buy jack adapters to connect the two jack plugs, I could plug them into my LCD, but I don't see how I could use the microphone if it's connected to my PS3...

How is that with voice?? Well, originally I have two jack cables coming out of the headset (for the mic and sound), I connect them to my USB sound card which I then plug into my Play!

Hi, I have the solution!!

By connecting your headset with a USB sound card, it is recognized as a simple Bluetooth headset! This means you will only hear the voices of the players but not the sound from the game!

I have the same problem. I can't hear any sound. Just a kind of ticking non-stop. Yet I've connected it properly with the sound card and everything. But in the input settings, I set it to USB device and for output, I set it to default.

but we have the solution listen to mr kalinox at the beginning he speaks the truth!!! I have the Siberia and I bought a USB sound card, I plug it into the PS3, I go to configuration and I do:
- settings
- accessories settings
- audio device settings
- input device: usb device
- output device: default.

And it works, I hope this answers your question!!!!

Unplug the green djak (earphones) and connect it to your TV using a female/male extension.

Good evening everyone :)

Personally, I had the same issue. I could hear the voices of my colleagues, but the game sound itself was coming through the speakers of my LG TV.

I found out that it was just my TV that didn’t have an output.

I had to buy an optical cable as well as this little box:
