freebox tv, channel reception issues Closed

Question

Hello, I received the latest unbundled Freebox around mid-June and for the past 3-4 days I can no longer receive the channels AB1 (channel 22) and Mangas (channel 36). When I switch to them, I only get a black screen, no sound and no image. Furthermore, occasionally some channels can no longer be received, but it never lasts more than a few hours.

I have performed a hard reboot, and yet the AB package is currently free and AB1 is anyway free of charge.

Hi, I had a similar problem, it's not your Freebox but your line...
In bad weather, certain channels wouldn't come through and it would be a black screen...
If that happens to you, don't even think about calling at the same time because then it will be total blackness in your case!!

Just so you know, your channels will only be free for two months... after that, they'll be paid!
If anyone knows how to bypass this problem...

I've been experiencing this issue since Sunday as well. And I don't understand, because AB1 is a completely free channel, it doesn't stop after 2 months. (I've already lost all my other channels!!!)
Does anyone have a solution? What should we do? Wait patiently for it to come back?

Regarding your bandwidth issues, there aren't many solutions; the answer is simple: your bandwidth is insufficient.

To try to fix the problem, start by adjusting your ping. To do this, nothing could be simpler: go to your Free account and click on the link "ping adjustment (fastpath)."

You will have several options, the most sensible for you being to select the serenity mode; otherwise, it is clear that you will always have problems with your TV.

If the problem persists, there still aren't many solutions. Start by checking the characteristics of your line.
Still in your Free account, if your "length" is over 3000 meters, don’t expect to have TV that works all the time; you are too far from the relay and there is nothing you can do about it except move!
If your distance is greater than 2000/2500 meters but you are having problems with your TV, it's because there is an issue with your line, and in this case, contact Free so that they send an operator to check your line.

Check the state of your cables and connections to your computer before calling them; it's more sensible... Sometimes a quick look at the telephone socket and a little cleaning is enough to give you a boost in bandwidth. ;)

my problem is entirely about the reception in general of all my channels, free or not. I suddenly got a black screen with the message "ROCK N ROLL."
I did a hard reboot and nothing more, besides the message saying "connecting to the server...." then "invalid return code."

If someone could guide me before I call... thank you.
