Hello,
Thank you to everyone who reads my message and who can help me =D
So here’s my problem, for some time now, my PS3 controller isn’t responding the same way as before (especially when I move the joystick). For example, when I play COD 6, I feel a latency of a few hundredths of a second, but when playing at sensitivity 9, it’s noticeable =)
I’ve already tested my 3 controllers, so the hypothesis of a defective controller is out the window (unless I'm really unlucky and all three have the same problem... but anyway ;] )
Also, I haven’t changed my television, but not long ago, my PS3 switched to 576p resolution, so I went into display settings => video output settings and switched it back to 1080p.
Maybe there’s a connection? (or maybe not at all ^^' )
That's all, thanks in advance for your replies =)
Best regards, Eclacti.

Plugging in the controller doesn't change the latency =/
By the way, since I reconfigured my PS3 to set it to 1080p (after my little issue) (to switch it back to HD), I have a better picture on my TV. I may have reconfigured it incorrectly and set an image that's too "powerful," which could slow down the PS3? We'll see ^^' -
This doesn't seem feasible to me. Look in the PS3 settings; there can be several consequences, such as the latency of the PS3 controller.

In the end, thinking about it, there's no problem. I just think that strategy games need some time like all strategy games. However, for your Black Ops, you are focusing on that and thinking there’s a problem when there isn’t.

Hi pierrebov! I had the same problem, and I figured it out by myself (like a big kid :D). So here are the possibilities:
- It might be because your resolution is too high, so try switching it to 576p.
- It could be your connection: if you're playing via HDMI, and you have several ports available to connect your cable, try them all and see if one is faster than the one you're using. For me, that was the case: I had 3 ports; my mom changed her box, the new one had HDMI. So she took my port (HDMI 1) where I usually plugged in. And then I switched to HDMI 2. And there it was, latency (on both of my controllers, on the main menu, on MW3, BF3, and everything). I unplugged the HDMI cable from my Box, plugged it into HDMI 2, and my PS3 cable into HDMI 1, and surprise, no more latency!
- Otherwise, test your connection: Settings/Network Settings (at the bottom)/Internet Connection Test.
There you go, try that, and if it doesn’t work, contact your internet provider!
Bye!! -
Often, PS3s have a little problem, especially the slim models, but if your controller is not plugged into the USB port, do so and see if the latency is still noticeable. If it is, reconfigure it, but I can't remember how to do that =s
It is possible that your TV settings have reconfigured your PS3.
