PS3 controller issue: it works by itself

Hello,
I have a problem with my DualShock 3 controller for PS3. When I play FIFA 13 (that's the only game I have), it randomly decides to pass, shoot, etc.
The same thing happens in the game menus; no matter how much I press X to select a menu, it doesn’t work. I have no issues with the analog sticks, but there’s a problem with the L1/2, R1/2 buttons and the cross, square, circle, triangle buttons since I have no control over them.
I often find myself putting down my controller only to see it playing by itself (moving forward, making passes, dribbling, shooting, tackling…).

I even used the reset button on the controller, but nothing changes; it becomes unplayable again as soon as I turn it on.

I’d like to know if anyone has had the same problem, and if so, if they managed to fix it.

Well, your controller is crap, change it.
Or if you dare to take it apart, be careful, it's a pain to put back together.

Yeah, but paying €50 for a new controller really annoys me. I just took it apart and noticed it was incredibly dirty inside, so I'm trying to clean out all the dust, and then I'll see if there's anything else visually wrong instead of just looking at my controller from above and buying another one at the first issue.

Yes, clean it well, check if you have anything broken or misplaced.
Be careful when you reassemble it, it's tricky. Take your time, don't get worked up, otherwise you'll cause more damage than anything else.
