Table in Word

Hello, I have a table that spans 4 pages. I do not manually insert page breaks since my table extends over several pages.

I would like the first row of my table to repeat at the top of each page. YES YES I know I can check the box (Repeat at top of each page as a header row). EXCEPT, even if that box is checked (in the table properties), I still do not have the first row repeating.

Has anyone experienced the same problem?

Thank you

Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 7.0

To make the row repetition work, you need to go to the table properties, select the "Table" tab, and then under "Text wrapping," choose "None."

This solution worked for me! Thank you!!!!!
In Word 2011 for Mac, it's under the "table properties"/"table" tab. There's an option "wrap text". You need to select "none".
