Hello,

I have mentioned this issue before, but probably not in the right place: so I’ll reiterate!

I have an EPSON SX525WD.
I have read that it is preferable to keep certain printers continuously "ON" to save ink: indeed, on some models, every power-up would trigger a head cleaning that uses a lot of ink.
What is the general situation regarding this and for this specific model?
Thank you.

    Hello, and thank you.
I also asked Epson the question by email: see their response below.
It's a bit vague: what is a "tiny amount of ink"?
I believe that depending on whether you use the printer several times a day or twice a week, the choice might be different.
    Best regards.

    Epson's response:

Thank you for contacting EPSON's email service.

Indeed, each time you turn on your machine, a cleaning of the print head is performed to prepare your printer for printing. This injects a tiny amount of ink from each of the cartridges into the print head.
