phone connection/freebox fiber optic

Question

Hello,

I received the fiber optic freebox after my apartment was connected. So far, everything is going well. Following the installation guide, which is extremely brief, I managed to make the connections correctly, except for the phone.

There is only 1 socket for a "telephone" plug, while the old freebox had 2.
I don't know where to connect the wire coming from the phone. I've thought about the issue from every angle without any results and I no longer have a landline!
Another person asked a similar question, but there was no response. Is this unsolvable?

I also received the fiber optic freebox and there is only one slot for the "telephone" plug, the second and old slot was for ADSL, which is no longer needed for fiber optic.

However, the phone still does not work, despite the correct connections.

Hello.
I had the same problem as you.
When I switched from my regular Freebox to the Freebox optical fiber, both the TV and the phone stopped working. Only the internet worked.
Knowing that I already had an active number 09.... and that it worked very well with the old box.
The TV box displayed "Network," so I waited a day and a half for it to return to normal, and it worked. As for the phone, I waited until today, which is a week and a half, and it still didn't work.
I just did a hard reboot of the box, meaning I plugged and unplugged the power to the box that connects phone, internet, etc. four times in a row. And now, it’s working again; I have a dial tone, I can make calls, and I can access the "voicemail" menu from the TV interface.

Hello, I just solved the problem (TV box stuck on "Network") without waiting thanks to this procedure:

"If your TV Box is stuck on the 'Freebox' or 'Network' message instead of displaying the channels, it may be a firmware update issue. It is therefore advisable to perform a hard reboot of the HD box. To do this:

- Connect your HD box via Ethernet (mandatory).
- Unplug your HD box from the power source.
- Press the middle button on the HD box.
- Reconnect the HD box while holding this button.
- Wait for the red LED to light up before releasing the button.

The initialization and update sequence will restart from zero. "
