Hello,
I just found a pair of Logitech S200 speakers but I couldn't get them to connect.
I plugged the speakers into the power outlet and they made the normal sound of speakers being plugged in; they seem to be working.
However, when I tried to connect them directly to my HP OMNIBOOK XE3 laptop (older model...) via the "AUDIO" jack, it didn't work.
After a bit of searching, I couldn't find any information online...
Thanks in advance for your help.
Configuration: Windows XP / Safari 534.10

So you have plugged into the headphone output of your phone and there is no sound?
Have you tried doing it on a home PC to see if your speaker kit has any issues with the sound?
Try plugging in a headset into the headphone output of your phone to see if it works?
Thank you for replying after these tests, thanks.

I don't have a desktop computer,
I tested the headphone output of my TV, the sound from the TV is not transferred to the speakers, which means that the sound from the TV remains audible even though the headphone jack is plugged in, so it didn't work... Do I need to plug in both jacks (headphone and microphone) from the speakers?? I tested the headphone jack on my laptop, it works.
