Hello,
I am organizing a belote tournament. I would like to know if there is a graphic for an odd number of participants. For example, 7 couples means 3 tables of 4 players and I have 1 couple left. We will play 4 rounds of 12 hands each. There are still 4 couples that only have 3 rounds??? What should I do???
Please provide me with a graphic that could avoid this situation.
Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 7.0

Here is a very simple method when the number of teams is odd.
At the time of the draw, write down an additional team called Ghost. During the 4 rounds, the team that faces the Ghost team does not play. At the end of the 4th round, 4 teams have one round behind, then have the team from the 1st round play against the team from the 2nd and the team from the 3rd round play against the team from the 4th and add their points in the rounds they are missing.
Everyone will have played the same number of rounds.
Be careful, this should only be done in small family competitions, and with the agreement of the other participants, or to be specified in the competition rules.
