Hello,

After watching the movie Dog Pound, I saw at the beginning of the end credits: "In memory of Nguyen Nuoc Luu."
I did some research about "Nguyen Nuoc Luu," but I found nothing.

Can anyone provide me with information?

    In fact, Nguyen Nuoc Luu is a name of Vietnamese origin, and the director of the film, who is French, is of Vietnamese descent... So it’s probably simply a tribute to a friend or a relative who has likely passed away... No need to look any further...

      Nguyen Nuoc Luu was a young Vietnamese man incarcerated in a juvenile prison in the United States, and he died at the hands of his guards. This film was dedicated to him after significant protests took place in the United States to denounce the abuse in such institutions.
