Hello everyone, after several readings and attempts to fix the issue, here is my version but I would like to have the final one. I read on ccm several solutions but without success.
Here is the message:
"A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server is not found or is not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: Shared Memory Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server)"
SOLUTION: uninstall EBP - reinstall it - turn off your computer and restart, and in principle it should work. I rarely turn off my computer to avoid starting the process again because almost every time I save and exit, the message comes back.
Ebp is charging me 190 euros, I believe, and it's frustrating because I am almost certain it's an internal issue.
If you have the solution, I am interested. Thank you for your response. See you soon. Barbara

IMHO it's mainly an issue with the OS..
Try looking at the solutions provided on the MS forum.
Especially the section on the firewall...
