Hello,

Before, to make: ø, I used to type: alt+155.
However, on my netbook, I don't have a numeric keypad, what is the combination I need to use, please?

ASCII codes ascii don't work without a numeric keypad...sorry but the only solution is that of CMP (from what I know...you never know)

Hi, you can still do:
Start, all programs, System tools, Character Map.
This works for XP, but I don’t know the path for Windows 7, it should be similar.

  Thank you a thousand times CMP. It works very well (with the capital ç) on W 7 too, through all the programs. > Accessories > System Tools > Character Map. I pinned it to the taskbar. A bit tedious, but you're taking a big thorn out of my side. Because I hate misspelling.

Are there no shortcuts like with the numeric keypad?
