False contact TV antenna socket, TNT decoder
Hello, for some time now my TV (a Samsung LCD screen) has been giving me trouble, probably a loose connection at the antenna socket because when I move it, the reception improves, but once I let it go, it's impossible to get a good picture except for two or three channels...
I was advised to buy a TNT decoder even though my TV has one built-in, in order to change the input, doing away with the antenna socket by using the SCART connection.
So I bought the famous key, and now it's even worse.
The picture is awful, I can't even receive TF1 with an automatic scan, the picture quality is poor for the few channels I do receive, even though it's not scrambled, the image just looks dull...
On many forums, I've heard about a delay between my TV and the TNT decoder, but I don’t understand anything... And frankly, I’m not very good with electronics...
Could someone among you give me some advice on how to properly set up this TNT decoder, or even how to fix that famous antenna socket?
I noticed that by placing the two branches of a pair of scissors on the two small pins of the antenna socket, I get a perfect image, but as soon as I move, it all goes away!
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
