Hello

I just bought a Takara CDV1270BT DVD player and I have a small issue with the USB

when I plug in my flash drive the unit goes into USB mode but my drive isn’t active (the drive’s indicator light doesn’t turn on) and no file is read by the unit; in fact nothing is displayed except the blabla that you shouldn’t look at while driving for our safety

could someone help me ??

Thanks in advance

Configuration: Windows Vista / Firefox 3.6.12

I have a Takara 1270 BT radio. I can provide two or three details:

1: For the microphone problem, the mic on the unit is not at all sensitive; you just need to replace it (connect it with the cord pack).

2: For the USB key, personally my unit accepts them all; at the moment I have a 150GB hard drive plugged in and everything works perfectly. (just check the audio or video formats) download "Format Factory" and convert your music to MP3 and your videos to MPG, and voilà.

3: To watch videos while driving, just connect the PINK wire (I think the BRAKE wire) to the back of the unit with one of the small screws that come in the bag of useless stuff...

4: For the "loud," press and hold the "MUTE" button next to the volume and it activates the "loud."

Do you have a pink cable/lead named pink break?? If so, you just need to plug it into a screw/bolt behind your desk!

    Hello

My USB key works fine, but I have another issue; maybe someone can help.

The device recognizes my phone, and when I receive a call I can hear the other person, but no one hears me whether I plug in the microphone or not—they can't hear me.

    Does anyone have a solution?

    Thank you all.

Hello, we also had this problem and it’s because there is a plug behind the socket that must be connected (the red, white, and yellow plugs). We went to the store this morning and that’s what they told us. Hope that helps you.

Hello, I just bought this unit as well
to read DVDs it’s simple the pink wire brakes you make it touch the back of your unit (which is already at the masselui) and you’ll see it works nickel

on the other hand I have a problem I can’t read the DVDs that I burn even though it is in MPEG4 or AVI or others....

could you tell me exactly in which format I need to convert and with which software in that case?

ps: does it read DVD+RW ?

I’ve had it since Christmas and I could read everything at first, even while driving! For the past 2 months it doesn’t read CDs/DVDs or my USB drive anymore. I see that no one has a solution yet, but if anything has changed on your end, please tell me how to fix it.

    Hello,
could someone tell me how to connect the microphone because I went to several forums and they all say you have to install it at the back of the device, that there is a female jack, but I don’t see anything, just that there is one at the front right below the mic, is that where I should put it
    thank you for your response

In the setup of your device, you have a module to add behind your unit (a bunch of yellow, red, black sockets, etc.) and you have a jack socket on it (connect all the wires to the unit) and add a microphone to the jack (black jack)! Enjoy
ps ANY microphone works with it!

After struggling to install my Takara CDV1270BT DVD, everything works fine: USB, DVD, phone all good, but the stereo keeps bugging. The screen is all scrambled and the head unit cuts out and doesn’t power back on until after I’ve left the car off for 2–3 hours, then it works again. Could someone tell me where the problem lies?
