Hello, the error is currently appearing on my PS3, could someone tell me if it's general or just me???? Thank you   Configuration: Mac OS X / Firefox 3.6.9

Indeed, I just bought a new PS3, it downloaded firmware 3.50 successfully, and as soon as I try to log in or even sign up for PSN, it displays error 80023017. I hope it’s just maintenance...

maintenance from 11/18 5 PM to 11/19 2 AM, you'll have to be patient or connect before 5 PM, which is not my case......

Guys, I can't guarantee anything but it worked for me. I changed sessions by logging into my brother's account where it didn't work, of course, then I switched back to mine and it connected automatically. I hope it works for you. Otherwise, reset your password on Play Station online and give it a try...
Don't boo me if it doesn't work, but I fiddled with it this way.
