Hello!
Here's my problem:
I downloaded the Dr. Web antivirus for free and now I'm at the end of the 20 days and I want to delete it but it's impossible through the control panel add/remove. I get an error message (clear temporary files, restart the installation...) I saw that someone had the same problem on another forum but no one replied to them.
Can someone help me?
Thank you

Hello,

antivirus software is generally loaded at Windows startup, so you need to stop it before you can uninstall it... don't forget to disconnect from the internet before disabling your antivirus, you never know

now I won't be able to help you much more with your log, I use Kaspersky....

Hi,
just in case, try uninstalling it in safe mode. (Press F8 at startup).
Otherwise, try reinstalling it..
See you+

Hi,
I have a problem with my antivirus Dr. Web, I can't delete it!!
When I try to uninstall it through add/remove programs it says: ERROR 5001
_close the programs running (done)
_clear your temporary files (I think that's done too)
_check your internet connection (that's good too)
If anyone can help me find a solution to my problem that would be really nice..... :-D
Thanks in advance to whoever responds to me :-D

Simply uninstall Dr. Web by downloading and using UNLOCKER available on the website. Right-click on the Dr. Web icon, click on the one for Unlocker that appears in the window, then make the "Delete" option appear, click on it, and confirm the prompt to manually restart that appears, and you're done... good luck to the clever ones in the future. Thank you.

Hello,

I can't pin it, so go ahead if you want, Marie

DrWeb Antivirus Removal Tool: https://forum.drweb.com/index.php?showtopic=277909

Download the DrWeb Antivirus cleanup tool: drw_remover.exe and save it to your desktop.

Close all your applications and web windows, then double-click on the desktop icon.

If you are using Vista/Seven, right-click on the icon/Run as administrator.

The tool will ask you to restart the PC to complete the cleanup. Do it.

PS: ftp://ftp.drweb.com/pub/drweb/toolsNe do not use ComboFix unless explicitly asked by a security advisor trained in this tool. Please do not post on multiple forums about the same issue. - Find your Antivir report - Please create your own topic

You can re-download it, run it as an administrator as if you want to install it, and at one point a window will open where you can choose: modify or delete.
Click on delete and tada!
After that, you need to restart.

I hope this helps, it worked for me =)

It's simple:
1. Disconnect your computer from the internet; you can imagine why;
2. In the office, there is the Dr Web icon; right-click on this icon and Unlock or Uninstall will appear;
3. Click on Uninstall to start the software uninstallation process.
