How to remove print margins? Solved

Hi,

I want to print a full page without cutting off the text at the edges, but Word just won't cooperate: I change the positions on the ruler, but the image preview shows a white margin that I can't remove... It shouldn't be that complicated, would you happen to know how to do it??

Hello,
In Word and Excel 2007, you need to proceed as follows:
In the "Page Layout" tab, click on "Size" and select "A4 without borders".

If the problem persists, you need to disable the borders on your printer in the settings.

Hello,

Regarding Word 2007, to reduce the margins (top, bottom, right, left), click on the Margins command in the Page Layout tab. Then click on Custom Margins and set your desired margin size.

Beware!!! Although Word allows setting margins to a width of zero, Word maintains an absolute margin of 1.25 cm. If you set a margin lower than 1.25 cm, your text will be cut off.

To configure the margins of a document, go through Windows and set the properties of your printer.

Under WORD 07, to remove or display margins, go to the top of your first page, at the upper edge of the page where you have an icon with two arrows, it will say "click to hide spaces", double click and there you go.
