Steam and vcredist package

Hello,

I currently have a problem with Steam...

It wants to install the vcredist package before launching the game "Grotesque Tactic," and it bugs during the installation with the following message:

I have already tried cleaning my Visual C++ versions, reinstalling everything, I even have the 2010 version, but nothing works... I have also tried manual installations of these updates.

Any ideas about this error message? I honestly don't understand...

    Hello,
    I spent my Sunday afternoon on this, and found nothing on the forums. But this morning, I found a working solution in five minutes. If the game doesn’t launch and keeps trying to install the vcredist package on Steam endlessly, then do Ctrl Alt Delete (all three keys at the same time), open the Task Manager, go to Processes, sort by Description, and select all the "vc redist" running one by one and end each process (personally, vc redist x86 and x64 were running 5 to 6 times each). Then launch the game. This doesn’t require leaving Steam. This worked for Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris and MWF3. There you go, hope it helps.
