Starsat 7100 usb titanium cannot read

yes of course, it's because it's not the same codec that your demo uses,
I have the Starsat 7300, it works with mpg video formats, I think it's pretty much the same for the 7100
so convert your video file to mpg file (*.mpg) with a video converter;
for the sound, the Starsat supports the mp2 format so don't forget to modify that as well;
it should work without any problems,
