Restore a Compaq PC to its factory settings

Hello,

I installed Windows Vista on my Compaq Presario C700 computer, but the system is incomplete, and now I want to restore my computer to its factory state to recover the original Windows Vista system I had.
Knowing that when I do "system restore," I only restore the Windows copy I installed using the CD, but I don't recover the original integrated system!

Thank you for your help.

    Hi

On a Compaq with Vista, it's F11 and not F10...

The problem is that if you've installed a different operating system than the original, you've probably erased the factory system recovery software, which makes using the recovery partition impossible.

If you haven't burned the recovery DVDs, I really don't see how you can reinstall your original Vista.

2° Google is your friend, the search engine of CCM is too, do a search!

"The problem is that if you installed a different operating system than the original one, you probably erased the factory system recovery software." It's true, that's what I did :( and I'm an idiot :s
Maybe I should look for Recovery on DVD to recover them.

Thank you very much, I finally read the links and thanks again once more.
