Hello Elfaida

If your system does not display Arabic, it means you need to install the complex script languages that are written from right to left.
Go to Control Panel --> Regional and Language Options --> Add other languages, install the complex scripts; it will ask you to insert the XP installation CD; then after installation, restart your PC.
Go back to Control Panel --> Regional Options --> Add other input languages --> and there, look for the Arabic you want based on the country, then apply, OK.
After that, click on FR in the taskbar to see if you can select AR.
There you go, good luck.

Thank you very much. I don't know how I managed to forget this operation, and by the way, I've done it many times, but with the reformatting issue, you know... you end up forgetting. Thank you for reminding me.

Hello,
I have a quick question about "Displaying the Arabic language in Excel." I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide me with the answer as soon as possible.
I already have an Excel DOC in Arabic. The displayed text reads: "Ç áÍÈíÈ Èä ÈæÈßÑ Ç áÛÈÛÈ," I am not looking to write in Arabic, but I would like to utilize this information in Arabic.
Thank you
and have a great day.

Mozila does not display the Arabic language; it shows it as an incomprehensible language. Please help me.

To display the Arabic language in Mozilla Firefox:

Go to "Menu Bar" => "View" => "Character Encoding"
Then select "Arabic (Windows-1256)"

I have a program whose interface is partly in Arabic. The Arabic text appears as ???? ???? ????? ??.

1. When I open "Regional and Language Options", the option "Install files for complex script languages and Right-to-Left languages" is grayed out and I cannot check it.

2. I have Windows XP Version 2002 Home Edition, which was already installed when I bought the computer. The XP CD was not included, so even if the above option were not grayed out, I would not be able to insert the XP CD.

Does anyone know why "support for additional languages" is blocked, and if there is a way to proceed without the XP CD, or will I need to purchase it?

Hello Michael, it's true that the person who installed your XP Home didn't install the East Asian languages. So you need the installation CD.

Let's see MHA02, it is impossible to translate or configure a language in the control panel. It needs an installation CD of its original language.

Hi, it's simple: Control Panel -- Regional and Language Options -- click on the Advanced tab -- in the dropdown list, select the Arabic language for the country that has this software (usually Arabic-Saudi Arabia). Then click OK and restart the PC.
